Can I order a sample?

Yes, we try to provide a true representation of the fabric with the photos that we offer on the product pages however due to computer screen calibration this may differ. Samples are the best way to ensure the fabric will meet expectations on colour and handle.

Samples can be ordered at £1 each and are sent with free delivery via Royal Mail and typically take 2-3 days to arrive.

What sizes are the samples?

Samples typically are approximately A5 in size. Please note we cannot guarantee pattern placements on samples received.

Placing an order

Can I check stock before ordering?

Give our team a call to check stock availability or use the contact us form, we'll be able to give you the most up to date stock information.

It's not letting me add the product to my basket, why?

We may be out of stock, please contact us to check when it is due back in.

It may be a fabric that will be re-stocked and if so, you will be given the option to leave your contact details so we can get in touch when stock arrives back in.

Some fabrics are limited clearance stock and will not return.

What is the minimum meterage I can order?

The minimum meterage you can order on our website is 1m, we are currently unable to sell in increments of 0.5m online. However please give us a call and you will be able to place an order over the phone, providing the order is over 1 full metre.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently do not offer international delivery on the website. There are forwarding companies that can be used if you are looking for delivery outside of the UK, for more information on this see our delivery page.

Can I cancel my order once it's been placed?

You can cancel your order as long as it has not been shipped, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible on 01446 771210.

I need to re-order the same fabric to complete my project?

If you have already received a fabric order from us and need to place an additional order for more fabric, please let us know before placing your order so we can ensure it comes from the same batch.

All fabric is printed in 'batches' and some can have slight variance in colour.

What if I need my fabric to be fire retardant?

Unless stated in the item specifications, our fabrics do not come fire treated and we are not able to offer FR treatment in house for the fabric we supply.

Always check with your upholsterer who will be able to advise you futher on fabric treatment required as some fabrics can be used with a barrier cloth.

Do you offer trade discount?

We specialise in offering fabrics at competative prices as standard which means we tend not to need to offer further discounts. For trade enquiries please contact us.


Will my fabric arrive rolled or folded?

This will depend on the volume ordered and the type of fabric. If you have specific requirements, please contact us before placing your order. Orders sent on a roll may be subject to additional charges to cover postage.

How long will my order take to deliver once I've placed an order?

Once an order has been received, we aim to dispatch within 24 hours*, we usually despatch the same day for orders received by 1pm.

Orders received over the weekend will be processed on Monday following.

Orders will be sent with Royal Mail or Parcelforce, please note we cannot accept liability for any courier delays.

Can I give delivery instructions for my order?

Contact us if you have specific delivery instruction. We will pass this on to the courier, however we can make no guarantees on this being followed.

What happens if my order does not arrive or arrives damaged?

Allow the stated delivery time prior to contacting us. Sometimes orders can be subject to delays due to service disruption in some areas or during busier periods.

If your order still has not arrived,  contact us and we will look into it further.

Please check your order carefully for damage before signing, you can refuse the parcel if you deem the damage makes the order unusable. Contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue with the courier as soon as possible and where applicable, arrange for a replacement order to be sent.


What about shrinkage or fading of fabrics?

It is normal for all washable fabrics to be subject to some percentage of shrinkage, this can vary by type of fabric and usage. Fading may also occur naturally over time in some fabrics.

How can I tell whether the fabric is suitable for curtains?

We provide recommended usage on all fabric under 'specifications' on each product page. Our filtering options will allow you to search by specific usage, for example, curtains or upholstery.

Can you supply fabrics which are not on your website?

We have accounts with a number of fabric brands that may or may not be listed on our website, please get in contact if you are looking for something specific and we'd be happy to help where possible.

Do you offer a made to measure service?

Yes, we have a team of experts on hand to offer advice and provide quotations on a variety of made to measure services, look at our making-up services page for more information.

What is 'custom made'?

Like made to measure, custom made are products designed and made to suit your specific requirements. Whether this is a specific size, fabric, heading type or trim - we'll always try to accommodate.

How do I know the direction the stripe is meant to run on a fabric?

We have included a picture of the roll in the second image on each product page that shows whether a stripe is horizontal or vertical.

Do you have a showroom open to the public?

Our fabrics and products are despatched from our warehouse near Cowbridge in South Wales, we are open to the public Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am - 5pm. Due to the volume of products we offer not all stock is currently on display, if you are hoping to see something specific we recommend you contact us in advance.
